About me

Nathan Dean is a novelist who writes espionage thrillers, political adventures and a series of children’s books about a talking puffin named Paisley.

A Chicago native, Nathan spent four years living in Europe and has traveled to over 50 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He has enjoyed them all, minus an incident with a camel in Egypt and self-induced riot in India (wasn’t my fault, I swear).

A former investment banker, government affairs professional and volunteer zookeeper, Nathan now works as an intelligence analyst for a large financial services technology firm. He enjoys cricket, hiking and grande skim lattes.

Nathan has a B.S. in Management from Purdue University and a M.B.A. in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

He lives in Tysons Corner, VA with his wife and daughter.
